World Cup Update - RO16 Day 1

Welcome to the knockout rounds!  Both games today had favorites that were favored by 75% or more to win, and both of them managed to come out victorious, but not without challenge by the underdogs.

Game 1 today pitted Group A winners Netherlands against Group B runners up United States.  Although xG of the game ended up even, Netherlands put away more of their chances than the US did, and eliminated the young yanks.  They move on to face Argentina.

Game 2 matched Group C winners Argentina against Group D runners up Australia.  The difference in this game was a #WPOOTBGW candidate from Mat Ryan in goal for the Aussies, as he miscontrols a back pass giving the Argentines an easy 2nd goal.  Although Australia pulled one back with an Enzo Fernandez own goal, Argentina held on to win 2-1, they move on to face the Netherlands.
