AFCON Qualifiers heading into final week

Sup y'all-

So coming up next week is the final matchday of AFCON '24 qualifiers, and there are several teams looking to punch their tickets to Cote d'Ivoire in 2024 for the next installment of the African Cup of Nations.

15 teams have already guaranteed a spot in the field of 24, so there will be 9 additional teams celebrating next week after this round of games.

Group C

Namibia is almost assuredly through, the only chaos situation that can knock them out is a draw between Cameroon & Burundi with at least a score of 4-4 or more.  Crazier things have happened.  Barring that outcome, the winner of Cameroon / Burundi will move on with Namibia, and in a draw (3-3 or below) Burundi will qualify.

Group E

Madagascar is eliminated, and a win for Ghana, Angola, or Central African Republic would mean they are through

Ghana is guaranteed to advance with a draw, and could advance even with a loss, if Angola draws or loses to Madagascar

Angola doesn't guarantee qualification with a draw, they would need CAR not to win against Ghana in order to qualify with a draw vs. Madagascar.  They could also advance with a loss and a Ghana victory against CAR

CAR could advance with a draw and an Angola loss to Madagascar, and would be eliminated with a loss

Group F

Angola is qualified already

Tanzania will qualify with a win or draw, and even a loss given that Uganda does not win and make up the GD / GF tiebreakers

If the teams draw on Pts, GD, and GF, Tanzania will advance on Away Goals.

Group G
Mali is qualified already, and South Sudan eliminated

Gambia will advance with a win or draw against Congo

If Congo beats Gambia, they will advance

Group I

Now this group is wild.  All 4 teams are alive to qualify or be eliminated.

Set tiebreakers: 

DR Congo has tiebreaker over Mauritania and Gabon

Mauritania has tiebreaker over Sudan

Sudan and Gabon are tied in h2h tiebreaker

Mauritania would advance with a win or draw, and be eliminated with a loss

DR Congo would advance with a win or a draw, and be eliminated with a loss

Gabon would advance with a win, and be eliminated with a draw or loss

Sudan would qualify with a win, and be eliminated with a draw or loss

Group L

Senegal has qualified and Rwanda are eliminated

Mozambique would qualify with a win or draw against Benin, and be eliminated with a loss

Benin would qualify with a win, and be eliminated with a draw or loss
