AFC Asian Cup '23

'Tis the season for delayed continental cups still named for 2023!!  Later this month the much-respected footballing nation of Qatar will reprise their role as tournament host to welcome 23 other AFC nations to contest the Asian Cup.  Since it's 10,000 deg (Fahrenheit, ofc) in the summer in Qatar, it was pushed to the winter, much like the World Cup was.

Looking to the actual football, perennial Asian favorites Japan are the heavy favorite in the model, with a 37.6% chance to lift the cup.  This looks to be a top-heavy tournament as far as the elo model is concerned, with the top 4 favorites a combined 85% chance to win, and every other nation below 4% odds to take the title.
